A special talk by YSS/SRF President Swami Chidananda Giri, in honour of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Gandhi Jayanti), was livestreamed on this page (see below) and the SRF YouTube channel on Thursday, October 3, at 8:00 a.m. (IST). Following his talk, Swami Chidanandaji lead a brief period of meditation and then a prayer service for world peace.
This event was broadcast from the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine, where Paramahansa Yoganandaji established a Mahatma Gandhi World Peace Memorial (containing a portion of Gandhiji’s ashes) when he dedicated the SRF Lake Shrine in 1950.
