Self-Realization Fellowship sannyasi Swami Kamalananda Giri shares wisdom from the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda on cultivating the transformative quality of devotion, or putting our love for God into action. True devotion, this talk explains, is an act of utter self-forgetfulness — where God becomes the only Reality and the devotee sees nothing but the Divine in creation, and learns to dissolve himself or herself in Spirit.

No matter what difficulties we face or roles we play in the drama of the world, it is possible on the path of yoga to experience such devotion as a state of consciousness and a way of life.

This talk was given at the SRF temple in Fullerton, California, on July 31, 2022.
