Uma Mata is a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, and longtime member of the SRF Board of Directors (now retired). In this talk, given at that 2001 SRF World Convocation, she very sweetly and profoundly shares stories and incidents from her own life with the Guru, and discusses the vastness of the guru-disciple relationship and the guru’s love for each disciple. Uma Mata remarks about the Guru: “If I think about God’s love, I think about Master’s love; if I think about Master’s love, I think about God’s love. There is no separation—they are one.”
