He who perceives Me everywhere and beholds everything in Me never loses sight of Me, nor do I ever lose sight of him.
As millions of devotees around the world celebrated Janmashtami — the birth anniversary of Bhagavan Krishna, that fell on August 26 this year, a special programme was led by a YSS sannyasi to honour the kingly avatar of divine love. It included periods of reading, devotional chanting, and meditation.
This commemorative meditation presented a beautiful opportunity for us to follow the wisdom and meditation teachings of Sri Krishna, also revered as Yogeshwar or “Lord of Yoga,” whose teachings are enshrined in the Bhagavad Gita.
All YSS ashrams, kendras, and mandalis also conducted in-person programmes on this occasion.
