According to Paramahansa Yogananda, the New Year is the perfect time to set a new programme for yourself, outlining what you intend to do and what you aspire to be in the coming year. To reflect on our worthwhile goals and aspirations for the upcoming year, he instituted the tradition of ushering in the New Year with a meditation.

A special New Year’s Eve meditation was led by a YSS sannyasi on Sunday, December 31, 11:30 p.m. – Monday, January 1, 12:15 a.m. (IST).

YSS ashrams and some of our centres also held in-person programmes for the New Year’s Eve meditation on December 31.
